TAKEOFF: MIGOS RAPPER KILLED AT 28 IN HOUSTON SHOOTING

According to reports, Takeoff killed in a gunshot in Houston, Texas.
The rapper known as Migos, whose real name is Kirshnik Khari Ball, was fatally shot early on Tuesday morning at 810 Billiards and Bowling in Houston’s downtown (November 1). Age-wise, he was 28.
A fight broke out when Takeoff and Quavo were playing dice, shots were fired, hitting Takeoff “either in the head or right next to his skull.” Quavo was not hurt, despite earlier allegations that claimed he was also shot.

Early on Tuesday, Houston Police tweeted that they had responded to a shooting near 1200 Polk St. Upon arrival, one victim was discovered to be dead; their identity has not yet been made public.

Police verified that Quavo and Takeoff were present at the scene when shots were fired during a news conference. According to the police, security personnel at the event, heard the shooting but did not reportedly see the shooter. According to HPD, two further casualties were transported in private vehicles to local hospitals in unclear conditions.

The motive for the shooting is being determined by investigators by reviewing nearby security footage.

A official from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission told KPRC 2 that potential sanctions could include a civil fine or the temporary suspension of the establishment’s liquor licence if an investigation revealed that the company’s “policies, procedures, or practises contributed to the fatal shooting.”

The business’ liquor licence might be cancelled, which would prevent them from selling alcohol (though it wouldn’t necessarily mean they’d close their doors forever), according to the severity of a potential violation, the spokesperson said in a statement.

“Rip takeoff that was sickening to see that happen to you,” said a Twitter user who claimed to have witnessed the shooting. The entire night, he went about his business while I was ill.

In a picture purportedly shot just before the shooting, Takeoff is shown standing outside the bowling alley with a group of people wearing Halloween costumes while wearing the same white t-shirt and black leggings as in his previous Instagram Story.

After the shooting, Takeoff’s body can be seen appearing to be motionless on the ground in a video going viral on social media. A visibly upset Quavo can be seen pleading for assistance while standing over his body.
