Jeremy Renner, who starred in the movies Hawkeye and Mayor of Kingstown, shared a photo from his hospital bed two days after suffering a terrible snow-plowing accident.

Mayor of Reno Hillary Schieve stated that Renner, 51, was critically hurt by his own snow plough on New Year’s Day as he was assisting a stranded car.
The actor from American Hustle and Wind River was hurt in the incident near his house on Mount Rose Highway, some 25 minutes outside downtown Reno, and was taken to the hospital. His status is serious but stable, and he is in the intensive care unit.

His agent stated on Monday that he had had surgery.
Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam stated during a press conference on Tuesday that
“we do not believe Mr. Renner was at anyway impaired and we consider this to be a terrible accident.”
Balaam said that Renner attempted to stop the 14,000-pound plough from rolling after using his Sno-Cat, commonly known as a PistenBully, to release a family member’s car from the snow.
According to the inquiry, Mr. Renner gets struck by the PistonBully at this time, Balaam stated.

“An eyewitness detailed seeing Mr. Renner getting into the PistonBully, and not seeing him again until the PistonBully came to a rest in a pile of snow in front of his driveway.”
