The newest season of Emily in Paris, which debuts on Wednesday, has fans eager to see Kim Cattrall.
Since Kim Cattrall and the show’s creator, Darren Star, have been friends since they both worked on Sex and the City, another Netflix blockbuster, fans have been hopeful that Cattrall may make a cameo.

There was even more reason for optimism when Cattrall, 66, showed up for Emily’s season 3 debut in the City of Light on December 7.
Star told PEOPLE at the Thursday night New York premiere that he “would love” to have Cattrall on the programme.
He said, “For me, it’s never about stunt casting per per. “Finding the ideal candidate for the ideal position is key. And I would want to collaborate with Kim; I simply need to find a job that is deserving of her.”
Added he, “It’ll be enjoyable if this works out. So let’s wait and see.”

Regarding season 3, Star hinted that the show would go deeper into the experiences of its characters within and outside of the French city.
He told PEOPLE, “I think you have a lot more story to tell when you have a terrific ensemble like this. “I see a tonne more narrative to tell and a tonne more opportunities.”
Star stated he would like to continue the show past the previously confirmed Emily in Paris fourth season.
Star declared, “If they want us back, we’re coming back.” We’re enjoying ourselves a lot, so I hope we get to keep doing it.
On Wednesday, Netflix will launch the third season of Emily in Paris.
